Spybot	Ad Aware is nice but Lavasoft has been very slow on updates. Spybot catches more spyware and has a bunch of other very useful features.
Trillian	This client replaces AIM, Yahoo & MSN Messenger and ICQ with one small, convient interface. Keep in touch w/o clutter.
E-Prompter	Have multiple web based email accounts? This is what you need. This will check Yahoo, MSN, AOL, Hotmail, etc. at once. No more switching users or logging in out in out in out...Freeware too.
